Studios43 having a 'face lift'...

Work is going slow, I guess the contractor has a bigger project somewhere else, which is fetching a better profit for him maybe?

What you see is supposed to be the door from the children room accessing to the balcony. Since the original 'Emergency Exit' at the back of the 1st Floor has been converted to the extension of my Master Bathroom, I need to open up a new exit at the front.

Right below the new 'Emergency Exit' will be the new Foyer to my extended Living Room.

Emmm dunno yet... I am a gadget guy, so I guess at least a high tech surveillance system should be a standard, smart home? See how smart they get by the time I come to that lah.. haha.

just fyi, to have a smart home, the m&e cost a lot of money, major renovation. It can cost alot more than the construction itself.

smart home features...eg
(1) u are on d way back home from work, u can start to on the aircond in ur house
(2) start cooking the rice
(3) on the heater
(4) on the tv
(5) gate is also automated

-tips from my friend-

Very likely ...

(2) start cooking the rice
This fellar does not plan to cook or eat at home

(3) on the heater
Who needs a heater here??

(4) on the tv
I doubt he watches TV

(5) gate is also automated
This is a standard feature for most of the ordinary home, no longer smart home's feature

My suggestions:
1) He should set the water to auto fill up his bath tub before he reaches home ... does he has a bath tub in the design? Or he prefer those standing, water massage type?

2) Start his sound system and the lighting effects, as if he is walking into a hotel ..

3) And lastly, do something to make his cats wait for him at the foyer, then meowwwwww to greet him coming back !
